Captain Scott Legacy Society is a registered charity dedicated to fostering meaningful and positive community connections through volunteerism.
Our Volunteer Ambassadors Program is all about making volunteering easy and flexible. We team up with local organizations across the Lower Mainland to host about 2-3 events every month, all year long. No long-term commitments, no experience required! Just sign up for any event when it works for you.
Once you apply to become a Volunteer Ambassador, we’ll send you a monthly roundup of upcoming events by email, so you can jump in and register whenever you’re free. Whether you want to give back in your spare time or find a cause that truly sparks your passion, we’ve got you covered!

Sign up now for our Volunteer Ambassadors program! We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities to get involved. If you need any accommodations, just let us know when you register.
If you're under 18, please fill out the Youth Application, as we’ll also need parental consent. Volunteers under 12 must have a parent or guardian attend unless we’ve made staff arrangements.

Captain Scott Legacy Society is a registered charity that aims to build community and belonging by bringing people together through volunteering. Founded in 2019 in Vancouver, BC, we partner with community organizations to host volunteer events year-round.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our founders, Scott Shaw and the late Greg Helem, recognized a need to unite people through meaningful volunteer work. Captain Scott Legacy Society was established to build a community where everyone can make a difference.
