Captain Scott Legacy Society is a registered charity dedicated to fostering meaningful and positive community connections through volunteerism.
Captain Scott Legacy Society’s annual Community Care Adventure initiative is running from March 22 to May 3, 2025. This free, multi-week "volunteer festival" brings people of all ages and abilities together to engage in meaningful volunteerism, explore diverse community causes, and connect with local non-profit organizations.
It offers participants the chance to take part in group volunteering activities, skill-building workshops, and fundraising events. The initiative culminates in a free Grand Volunteer Celebration at the end of Canada’s National Volunteer Week-an event featuring food, live music, games, networking opportunities, a nonprofit expo, and a first-come, first-serve movie screening.
