Volunteer Opportunity: Fundraising Associate

We are seeking a volunteer Fundraising Associate to assist with securing sponsorships for our annual 5K Charity Walk. This role involves reaching out to local businesses in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia Beach, Virginia, to solicit support for our cause.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Call local businesses to request sponsorship for our upcoming 5K Walk.
  2. Gather contact information and send sponsorship packages via email or mail as requested.
  3. Communicate our mission and programs to potential sponsors.
  4. Request sponsorships or donations to support our cause.

Required Skills:

  1. Previous experience in telemarketing, sales, or cold calling.

  • A quiet workspace with no background noise.

Mission Statement

To save lives by reaching out to the less privileged members of the society in Africa who have no access to proper medical attention by administration of medical camps and other health programs.

Description

Health Focus Africa was founded and registered in the United States in 2021. The purpose of Health Focus USA is to raise funds to support medical programs in Kenya and the rest of Africa.

Health Focus Africa camps intend to make medical treatment of all kinds, affordable and accessible to everyone. Essential medicines are made available, to save lives, reduce suffering and improve health. To achieve this, we are mobilizing resources and deploying skilled healthcare workers on the ground, while engaging local authorities to support the cause.

We seek to contribute to creating a healthy society through the administration of medical camps and by identifying key focus areas that require our attention which will be key to a sustainable economy throughout the continent of Africa. We intend to make this a reality through our partners and supporters. We are currently scheduling medical camps throughout Kenya, our plans include offering these free medical camps to the neighboring countries as well. Our Vision is to have a society that is medically fit and able to fend for their families.
