The Doggy Dash is the Sacramento SPCA’s largest fundraiser of the year. It is also the largest 2k/5k walk and pet festival in Northern California, now in its 32nd year. The Doggy Dash will take place on Saturday, April 12th at William Land Park from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm.

Doggy Dash is lots of fun!  As a volunteer you will help thousands of happy dogs and their loving owners enjoy a walk in the park, games, entertainment, food and more!

TEAR DOWN

Location: William Land Park, Village Green (corner of Sutterville and Freeport)

Times: 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Tasks: Assist with the tear down of canopies, fencing, tables/chairs, banners, signage, etc. ****Requires heavy lifting and lots of walking.

Description

Since 1894, we have been working to reduce pet overpopulation through affordable spay/neuter services, promoting the humane treatment of animals through education and outreach, and assisting pet owners through a variety of programs and services designed to keep pets and their families together.

The Sacramento SPCA is a local, independent non-profit relying solely on private donations and grant funding. It does not receive federal, state, or other government funding nor is it an affiliate of any national organization.
