ORGANIZATION: VeloCity Bicycle Cooperative

A local bicycle nonprofit is seeking volunteers with writing and organizing skills to publicize, direct, and take notes on meetings of the board of directors, which are held over Google Meet on the third Monday of the month, 7-9pm. Responsibilities include sending out email and Slack announcements and reminders, preparing meeting agendas based on previous months, distributing materials submitted by members prior to the meeting, and summarizing the content of meetings in writing while they are occurring. No bicycle knowledge required. Much of the work can be done virtually, but volunteers must be able to meet at Velocity in person on a monthly basis to maintain familiarity with the organization's activities.
