A local bicycle nonprofit seeks volunteers skilled with Mailchimp to prepare a monthly newsletter publicizing our work. Learn what we do and let others know through articles and photos! No bicycle knowledge required. Much of the work can be done virtually, but volunteers must be able to meet at Velocity in person on a monthly basis to maintain familiarity with the organization's activities.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to grow and empower an inclusive biking community through education and affordability. We promote bicycling as a low-cost, sustainable, and healthy mode of transportation and recreation. We reduce waste by using recycled materials and directing unusable bicycle components to a metal recycling facility.
Description
Vélocity Bicycle Cooperative is a local nonprofit that refurbishes used bicycles, selling hundreds of bikes each year for affordable prices while donating over 100 bikes a year to individuals in challenging financial circumstances. No experience is required to volunteer with us. Come on down, make new friends, mess with bikes!
