Special Olympics Florida will host the FHSAA Track & Field State Championshipson Tuesday, April 29th at the Lake Minneola High School - 101 N Hancock Rd, Minneola, FL 34715.

Volunteers are needed to assist with staging, long jump, shotput, lunch and awards.

Staging - Line up athletes for the track events

Long Jump - Measure distances jumped and rake the sand pit

Shot Put - Roll shot put back to throwing area and help measure

Lunches - Hand out lunches to teams

Awards - Help hand out medals and trophies to the teams

Special Olympics relies on the support of volunteers to run successful competitions for our athletes. Thank you for making a difference for the athletes we serve.

Description

Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
