Women in Charge is hosting its annual Trivia Night, and we need enthusiastic volunteers to make it a smashing success! This exciting event will raise crucial funds to support our mission of empowering women in our community. We're looking for dedicated individuals (16+ with own transportation) to assist in two key areas:
1. Event Setup Crew (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM):
- Kickstart the fun by helping us transform the Monsignor Ryan Center into a lively trivia hub!
- Tasks include:
- Arranging tables and chairs
- Setting up decor items
- Preparing the bar area
- Constructing balloon arches and photo op stations
- Hanging signage
- Setting up the registration and silent auction tables
2. Event Support Team (5:00 PM - 10:30 PM):
- Be a vital part of the action during the Trivia Night itself!
- Tasks include:
- Checking in guests
- Selling raffle tickets
- Assisting with silent auction bids and purchases
- Serving as a bartender
- Facilitating engaging games like Heads or Tails and Dead or Alive between trivia rounds.

Description
Founded in 1992, Women In Charge is devoted to empowering women to move one step at a time toward independence. Women In Charge is a safe and nurturing environment offering a variety of programs such as adult literacy and HiSET preparation created to meet the emotional, social, educational, and career ambitions of the women throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area. The recently added ESL program offers free English Language classes to both men and women. Improved English will help give the immigrants and refugees the confidence and skills they need to acquire and maintain employment, leading to long-term improvements in their own lives and futures of their children.
