Volunteer Opportunity: Laravel Developer

About the Opportunity:
Jan Briddhi Foundation is seeking passionate Laravel Developer Volunteers to contribute to a community-led project for a social cause. This is a great opportunity for developers who want to use their skills for social good, gain experience, and make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel.
- Design, implement, and manage MySQL databases for efficient data handling.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support the platform’s functionality.
- Document APIs using Swagger for clear and structured API references.
- Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Laravel Framework and PHP development.
- Strong understanding of MySQL database management.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Swagger API documentation.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Our organization was founded in June 2019, and we are proud to have officially registered as an NGO in July 2022. Our mission is to empower children and youth in our community through education, skill development, and income-generation programs. At Jan Briddhi Foundation, we believe that every child and young adult has the potential to achieve great things, and it is our duty to provide them with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
