Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Volunteer Video Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling through video and eager to support a meaningful cause. The Volunteer Video Editor will play a key role in editing and producing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and digital initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesEdit and produce high-quality video content for social media platforms, website content, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Enhance video content by incorporating graphics, animations, subtitles, and sound effects to improve engagement.
Work closely with the marketing and events team to ensure a consistent visual identity across all video content.
Manage video post-production, including cutting, trimming, color correction, and audio adjustments.
Organize and archive video assets efficiently for future use.
Utilize video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant tools.
Provide creative input and suggestions for improving video storytelling and engagement.
Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
Strong creative vision with attention to detail in editing and storytelling.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a remote team.
Previous experience in nonprofit marketing or social media video production (preferred but not required).
Passion for supporting children and making a positive impact.
10 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate availability.

Description
The Dream Factory was established as an all-volunteer wish-granting organization in 1980. In the past thirty plus years, it has grown into one of the nations largest wish-granting organizations with local chapters across the country and a national Headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Dream Factory is about children: critically and chronically ill children whose lives have been challenged in ways that the average person cannot comprehend.
The Dream Factory exists to bring some happiness into these lives. As a Dream Factory volunteer, you will interact with children and their families, with other volunteers, members of the medical community and social services agencies, and with donors, sponsors and other members of the community.
