Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Volunteer Video Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling through video and eager to support a meaningful cause. The Volunteer Video Editor will play a key role in editing and producing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and digital initiatives.

• Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media platforms, website content, newsletters, and promotional materials.

• Enhance video content by incorporating graphics, animations, subtitles, and sound effects to improve engagement.

• Work closely with the marketing and events team to ensure a consistent visual identity across all video content.

• Manage video post-production, including cutting, trimming, color correction, and audio adjustments.

• Organize and archive video assets efficiently for future use.

• Utilize video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant tools.

• Provide creative input and suggestions for improving video storytelling and engagement.

• Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.

• Strong creative vision with attention to detail in editing and storytelling.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a remote team.

• Previous experience in nonprofit marketing or social media video production (preferred but not required).

• Passion for supporting children and making a positive impact.

• 10 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate availability.
