Do you love welcoming new people, guiding them through on-boarding, and ensuring they feel confident and prepared? Are you passionate about helping others find their purpose and make a difference? Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC) needs your leadership and enthusiasm to ensure our volunteers get the orientation and training they need to change lives!

With over 45,000 athletes across the state, SONC depends on a dedicated team of volunteers to power sports competitions, fundraising events, and behind-the-scenes operations-and you can be the person who helps them get started on this rewarding journey.

What You’ll Do:
  • Engage with new volunteers, making sure they complete orientation and training so they feel confident and ready to make an impact.
  • Connect volunteers with the right resources, helping them learn about SONC and get involved in upcoming events.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Director of Volunteer Recruiting to build a strong, passionate volunteer team that fuels SONC’s mission.
Location & Time Commitment:
  • Fully remote-volunteer from anywhere in North Carolina!
  • Flexible schedule, approximately 4 to 16 hours per week.
