Caregiver OneCall is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering 24/7 support, resources, and expert guidance to family caregivers. As we continue to grow and serve more families, we are seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced board members to guide our efforts and help shape our future.

We are particularly looking for individuals with expertise in the following areas to serve on our volunteer board:

Expertise Needed:
  • Nonprofit Leadership & Governance: Experience in nonprofit board roles (Chair, Treasurer, Secretary) and understanding of governance best practices.
  • Social Work/Caregiving Support: Background in social work, caregiver services, or elder care to help guide the mission and strategic decisions.
  • Fundraising & Grant Writing: Proven experience in raising funds, including individual donors, corporate sponsorships, and grant writing.
  • Finance & Accounting: Ability to guide the organization in financial oversight, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Legal & Compliance: Knowledge in nonprofit law, tax-exempt status, and policy development.
  • Marketing & Public Relations: Experience with community outreach, building partnerships, and promoting the organization’s mission to a broad audience.
  • Technology & Operations: Ability to provide guidance on building and improving operational efficiency and implementing the right technology solutions to scale the organization’s efforts.
  • Community Engagement: Expertise in volunteer coordination, community programs, and building relationships with other service organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Help shape the direction and growth of the organization, ensuring alignment with our mission.
  • Fundraising & Networking: Contribute to securing financial support and strategic partnerships.
  • Governance: Ensure the organization operates in compliance with all laws and regulations, while adhering to nonprofit best practices.
  • Advisory Role: Provide insight and expertise in key decisions, from program development to staffing.
