Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center is seeking Business Plan Reviewers to support graduates of our 10-week Business Prep program as they finalize their business plans. After weeks of coursework, individual work, and business presentations, students rely on expert feedback to refine their strategies. As a reviewer, you will provide structured, constructive insights to help entrepreneurs strengthen their business models.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review assigned business plans using the our Business Plan Review Checklist, ensuring each section is thoroughly evaluated, and provide thoughtful feedback on all relevant areas.
Commit a minimum of 3 hours to reviewing business plans.
Conduct one-on-one virtual or phone meetings with assigned clients (up to 1 hour per client) between late April and the end of May, based on mutual availability.
Submit the completed Business Plan Reviewer Checklist and the Counseling Form after each meeting.
Offer constructive, actionable feedback that supports students in refining their business strategies.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Business professional, entrepreneur, or consultant with expertise in business planning and financial analysis.
Strong understanding of financial statements, startup strategy, and market research.
Comfortable providing clear, constructive, and supportive feedback.
Prior mentoring or advisory experience is helpful but not required.
COMMITMENT & AVAILABILITY:
Minimum of 3 hours of availability between April - May 2025 (Flexible scheduling based on reviewer and client availability).
Reviews should be completed within two weeks of assignment to ensure timely feedback.
