Mission Statement

Circles mission is to inspire and equip families and communities to thrive and resolve poverty. The program believes that responsibility for both poverty and prosperity rests not only in the hands of individuals but also with communities.

Description

Circles is about intentional friendship across income lines. Volunteers and participants grow and learn together. While participants navigate their way to financial transformation, volunteers get an in-depth education on the culture of poverty. Participants and volunteers meet together weekly to identify, discuss and often resolve the barriers that keep people in poverty. The Circles program is nationwide. This result of this program is encouraging. After 18 months, most participants increase their income by 71%.
