Lila Pet Visits

Do you cherish the special bond you have with your dog or cat? Want to share that joy with seniors who would love a furry friend to visit? Join our Pet Visit program at Lyngblomsten and make a lasting impact!

Bring smiles and purrs (or tail wags!) by:

  • Visiting with your well-behaved dog or cat, providing much-needed companionship.
  • Sharing the calming and comforting presence of your pet through gentle interactions.
  • Connecting with residents through conversation and shared moments.

What you'll gain:

  • The heartwarming experience of witnessing the positive impact your pet has on others.
  • A deeper sense of community connection.

To join our team, you'll need:

  • A friendly dog or cat, at least one year old and fully vaccinated.
  • Participation in our new volunteer orientation and completing a state-required background check with fingerprinting. We will walk you through the entire process.

Interested? Contact Melanie in Volunteer Services at mjagolino@lyngblomsten.org.
