Help cancer patients in your community get to life-saving medical appointments.
Volunteers with the American Cancer Society’s Road To Recovery use their personal vehicle to drive patients with limited or no transportation to cancer-related treatment appointments.
Rides are weekdays. You choose the rides that work with your schedule. Drivers are encouraged to provide a minimum of 2 rides per month.
Volunteer drivers are ages 18-84 with
a safe driving record,
a current license,
a reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
Volunteers complete online training and background and motor vehicle checks. Vehicle insurance is required . Volunteers review available rides via an online scheduling tool on a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
