Position Summary:
The Curriculum Developer will play a critical role in enhancing GO’s after-school program by creating new and engaging lessons and activities for students in rural Honduras. The ideal candidate will have experience in education, lesson planning, and developing fun and motivational strategies to keep students excited about learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that align with GO’s mission and educational goals
  • Create fun and engaging activities that support learning and student development
  • Design strategies to motivate students and foster a love of learning
  • Collaborate with GO staff to ensure lessons are culturally relevant and impactful
  • Adapt lessons and activities to accommodate different learning styles and needs

Qualifications:

  • Experience in education, curriculum development, teaching, or a related field
  • Strong creativity and ability to design interactive learning experiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for supporting education and youth development

Guided Opportunities ("GO") is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization who works primarily with schools in rural Honduras. We GO to schools in need and combine education, exciting activities and nutrition to create a safe and structured after-school environment to help students learn, play and grow.
