Ten-acre therapeutic horseback riding facility needs muscle!

Chores consist of stall cleaning, water bucket cleaning, aisle sweeping and more.

Morning & afternoon shifts available: 3-4 hours, starting at 7 am or 3 pm, any day(s) of the week.

Volunteers welcome to train to sidewalk in our riding classes with children/adults with varied abilities!

Mission Statement

HRET is passionately committed to empowering the lives of individuals with varied physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities through the spirit of the horse. HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our program safe horses. We are an equine assisted services (EAS) program that provides horse and pony therapeutic riding and activities. Our classes are approximately an hour long and incorporate grooming and bonding time with horses or ponies, in addition to riding.

Description

HOLISTIC RIDING EQUESTRIAN THERAPY (HRET) PROGRAM is designed to improve the quality of life physically, emotionally, and socially for individuals with varied abilities, as well as veterans. HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our horses. We also offer a farm experience program for groups, as well as summer camps, field trips and special events.
