DescriptionAbout InReach: We are InReach, a trans-led tech nonprofit building the world’s first open source verified LGBTQ+ resource platform. InReach is available on web (desktop and mobile), native iOS, and Android. Our vision is to ensure every trans and queer person has on-demand access to the safe resources they need to thrive. Over 420,000 people have used InReach to access verified LGBTQ+ resources.
Creative and compelling visuals are key to expanding InReach’s reach and ensuring more LGBTQ+ people know about our life-saving platform. We’re looking for Graphic Design Volunteers to help create engaging marketing materials, presentation assets, and digital content that amplifies InReach’s mission.
Responsibilities- Design new flyers, stickers, and other materials for InReach’s free marketing materials page using Canva (or similar design tools).
- Assist with designing slide decks and other materials for presentations as needed.
- Contribute video assets to be shared on social media, in presentations, or in other digital outreach.
- Ensure designs align with InReach’s brand identity and accessibility best practices.
- Collaborate with the InReach team to create compelling visual content that strengthens community engagement.
- Passion for LGBTQ+ rights, social justice, and creative advocacy.
- Proficiency in Canva (experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required).
- Strong design skills and an eye for visual storytelling.
- Experience creating graphics for marketing, social media, or presentations.
- Interest in designing for accessibility and inclusivity.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Use your design skills to support a life-saving LGBTQ+ resource platform.
- Gain experience in nonprofit graphic design and digital marketing.
- Work with a passionate, trans-led team committed to LGBTQ+ justice.

InReach is a trans-led nonprofit offering the world’s first open source platform connecting LGBTQ+ people facing persecution or discrimination with safe, independently verified resources. Our vision is for every LGBTQ+ person to have on-demand access to the safe resources they need to thrive.
InReach is available on web (desktop and mobile), and native iOS and Android. InReach’s open-source technology instantly matches trans and queer people in need with safe, independently verified housing, medical and mental health care, immigration and other legal help, meal assistance, education and employment, translation, community and spiritual support, and more critical services. App features include: documentation search filters, translation, saving and sharing resources, leaving public ratings/reviews, the ability to suggest new resources, and service provider features.
InReach serves as a comprehensive digital one-stop-shop for the intersectional LGBTQ+ community: InReach lists verified services for LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, refugees and other immigrants, LGBTQ+ BIPOC communities, trans and gender non-conforming folks, LGBTQ+ youth and caregivers, and more LGBTQ+ communities. The InReach App is free for everyone, including lawyers, case managers, social workers, and other providers searching for affirming resource referrals for LGBTQ+ clients.
