The Longest Day is a signature fundraising and awareness campaign of the Alzheimer's Association. Join The Longest Day Volunteer Committee and connect with others passionate about ending Alzheimer's and help to support critical care, support, and research efforts in Southeastern Virginia!
We are looking for individuals who are comfortable making phone calls and sending emails to participants of The Longest Day Campaign. Training and direction would be provided. The volunteer would need to be comfortable using their own devices (phone and/or computer) during their volunteer time.
Committee members meet 1x per month via zoom with fellow volunteers in addition to the monthly project(s) time. Please anticipate 3-4 hours of volunteer time per month.

The National Capital Area Chapter is affiliated with the national Alzheimer's Association, headquarters in Chicago. We serve persons with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, their families, caregivers, professionals and communities Central & North Florida through support, counseling information, referrals, education, advocacy and research.
