ORGANIZATION: The Brooklyn Hospital Center

The Brooklyn Hospital Center is looking for a volunteer in Emergency Management Planning. Emergency Management planning is at the heart of planning and responding to our hospitals, non-medical emergency's: it handles responses to both internal emergencies and external emergencies that may effect our hospital. Some examples are planning for natural or man-made disasters, fire preparedness and overall inspection/accreditation preparedness.

This is a great volunteer position for anyone interested in Hospital Administration and Emergency Management.

The best candidates will have some knowledge of emergency management planning

Requirements:

Must have some solid exp. with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to focus on deliverables

Be able to commit to 2 days a week at least 5 hours a day (Monday to Friday)
