Mission Statement

The Mission of I AM 4:Thirteens is to provide empowerment and enrichment programs to young ladies in grades 8th-12th. Our goal is to equip them with tools and resources needed to prepare for college and career readiness. We accomplish this through the following enrichment programs. Confidence Building, Health & Wellness, College Prep, and Leadership Development

Description

I Am 4Thirteens was founded on September 9, 2016 in Kansas City, Missouri by Iesha Tyler. The program began with seven girls and has grown to serve over 500 girls. The founder's journey of a lack of resources for college preparation and the trauma of real-world adversities inspired the program. The program was created to empower girls through real-life experiences and mentorship navigation.
