HELP!!!!! Our school is setting up a garden and we have so many questions! We composted horse manure for a year and it doesn't smell at all. We just had a soil delivery and it smells SO much like manure! Is it OK to mix in the clay-like dirt from the ground? What's the best corn to grow?

We need someone who knows more than we do to advise us. You don't need to be an expert! Maybe you just need to be brave.

About NA LIMA KAHIAU

Location:

PO BOX 4741, KANEOHE, HI 96744, US

Mission Statement

To stand in the gap for those whose needs are unmet elsewhere.

Description

Kosasa Academy is a small alternative Christian school for students who have not been successful in regular school. Art is an important part of our curriculum. Our students tend to be the nice kids who cannot succeed because they learn differently or the quirky kids who mean well but do not fit in with their classmates. We are not a school for students with substance abuse or violent behavior. Extensive training and support are provided to new hires.

Our faculty is wonderful. They are smart, funny, knowledgable, collaborative, sincerely committed to their students and supportive of each other. School decisions are often made by consensus and everyone is heard. When we say we are a team, we really mean it. Join us!
