What You Can Expect:
We have exciting year-round volunteer opportunities available, including:
Assisting in Classes (typically once a week): You’ll learn the material alongside the students, help with choreography, run lines, guide vocal harmonies, and assist teachers in keeping students focused. You’ll also help supervise students during breaks and tidy up before and after class.
Helping with Our Productions: Volunteer with our vibrant productions (schedule varies). During rehearsals, you will assist small groups by guiding them through choreography, helping them rehearse their lines, and working on vocal harmonies.
Contributing in Tech and Behind the Scene Support: You may choose to assist with tech, set building, and performance support. Additionally, you may provide support in other areas as needed to ensure smooth and productive sessions.
Supporting our Operations Team: From organizing to handling administrative tasks, there are numerous ways to contribute.
Requirements:
Volunteers for Kids Productions and classes must be 13 or older.
Volunteers for Jr. Productions must be 15 or older.
Adult volunteers (18+) must complete a Live Scan.
An interview with the ICDT! team is required before starting.
If you’re assisting with classes or productions, being comfortable with acting, singing, and dancing is highly desirable.
For production support, availability for all tech and performance dates for the cast you assist is preferred
Additional Benefits:
Your volunteer hours can be credited towards community service or internship requirements, making this an excellent opportunity for students who need to fulfill school volunteer hours.

Description
Welcome! We are I Can Do That! Performing Arts Center, a local non-profit theatre company based in Danville. ICDT! was founded in 2016 and we recently opened the doors to our beautiful Performing Arts Center in March of 2021. We are so excited to offer a wide range of classes to our community including New Parent Groups, Music & Movement classes for little ones, Youth Musical Productions, Adult Ballroom classes, Stellar Training in Acting, Singing, & Dancing, and so much more!
