Unpaid Internship Opportunity - Program Assistant

Kailee Mills Foundation

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit program management? The Kailee Mills Foundation is seeking a dedicated and organized Program Assistant Intern to support our Program Manager in coordinating and managing our impactful programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in scheduling, coordinating, and managing Seat Belt Safety School Programs and other safety-related events.
  • Support program logistics, including coordinating with schools, guest speakers, and volunteers.
  • Help prepare and ship program materials and manage event documentation.
  • Assist with data tracking, reporting, and grant requirement documentation.
  • Support the College Scholarship Program, including communication with applicants and recipients.
  • Contribute to process improvements and fundraising initiatives.
  • Perform other administrative and program-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for nonprofit work, safety awareness, and community impact.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Apps is a plus.
  • Availability to attend occasional in-person events and meetings.

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in program management while making a difference in promoting seat belt safety and supporting scholarships.

Educating students on the importance of seat belt use through school assemblies, seat belt checks, and seat belt ribbon distribution to teen drivers.

Kailee Mills Foundation Scholarship Fund
Kailee Mills Foundation Scholarship Fund provides merit based scholarships to students who have lost a parent, sibling, or child in a car crash.

Kailee Cares
Kailee Cares provides financial and counseling assistance to families who have lost a parent, sibling, or child in a seat belt related crash.

Kailee In The Community
Kailee In The Community spreads awareness throughout communities by partnering with local businesses to inform the public about the importance of seat belt safety through social media, hosting awareness events and fundraisers, and proudly displaying our seat belt ribbon decals on storefront windows and vehicle fleets.
