The duties of this volunteer position include coordinating and presenting curriculum-based education programs to schools in the park, in the classroom, and through distance-learning, utilizing teaching methods appropriate to each grade level from pre-school up to adults. Conducts basic research and assists with the development of curriculum-based education program objectives, lesson plans, and resource materials. Will work with other team members to serve up to thousands of students each year. May help with interpretive programs, informal interpretation, responding to visitor inquiries, or emergencies.
