Key responsibilities may include: Investigating employee complaints:
  • Conducting thorough investigations into issues like harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, performance concerns, and policy violations.

    Grievance management:

    • Handling employee grievances, mediating between employees and management, and ensuring proper grievance procedures are followed.

    Labor contract interpretation:

    • Understanding and applying the terms of collective bargaining agreements to resolve disputes.

    Negotiation support:

    • Assisting management in negotiations with unions regarding wages, benefits, and working conditions.

    Policy development and compliance:

    • Contributing to the development and implementation of employee relations policies, ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations.

    Employee training:

    • Providing training on company policies, employee rights, and conflict resolution strategies.

    Employee relations counseling:

    • Offering confidential advice and support to employees regarding workplace concerns.

  • Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels, including management, union representatives, and legal counsel.
  • Analytical skills: Capable of gathering information, analyzing situations, and making informed decisions based on facts.
