We're recruiting volunteers to assist with our Zero Waste Event services for the Lowcountry Land Trust's Annual Spring Gathering, taking place April 5th in Yemassee, SC. Zero Waste Event volunteers will help staff our waste sorting stations throughout the picnic area, ensuring we are diverting as much recyclable and compostable waste from the landfill as possible. The event will take place from noon to 3pm. Both teenager and adult volunteers are welcome to help. This would be a fun event to carpool to with friends or as a family!

The City of Charleston's Keep Charleston Beautiful is dedicated to promoting a cleaner more beautiful Charleston through education, awareness, and community involvement.

We host FREE litter prevention programs in local schools and provide supplies to groups interested in hosting cleanup events.

Description

Keep Charleston Beautiful provides litter prevention and recycling education programs to local schools and youth groups. We also work with community groups and businesses to conduct cleanup and beautification events. We work with any group any time to remove litter. All programs and supplies are offered free of charge.
