Being a hospice volunteer is a meaningful experience! You can be the caring heart & compassionate listener that provides needed comfort for a patient. You can be the kind person who saves the day by staying with a patient when the family needs to be out of the home. These are small acts that make a big difference in the quality of the lives of patients & families navigating the end-of-life journey; they often need more support than is available within their own personal networks.

Everyone has something special to offer & we'd love to chat with you about your unique skills. We support our volunteers with a comprehensive training program & align your interests & skills with those of the patients you will be supporting. We will help you figure out how to use your skills, whether they be writing life reviews, creating music playlists, playing games, reading books, watching tv, and much more. Schedules are flexible!

Cranberry Hospice & Palliative Care is a non-profit hospice serving patients in the greater Plymouth area, up north to Scituate, south to Buzzards Bay & west to Lakeville. We are ALWAYS looking for new volunteers to join our team to help our patients.
