ORGANIZATION: EMPOWER CONNECT FOUNDATION

Empower Connect Foundation is seeking a financially savvy and mission-driven Treasurer to join our Board of Directors. As Treasurer, you will oversee the financial health of the organization, ensure transparency, and help guide financial decision-making. Your expertise will help us sustain and expand our impact.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the organization’s finances, including budgeting and financial planning.
  • Ensure proper financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Assist with fundraising strategies and donor financial accountability.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial sustainability.
  • Work with accountants, tax preparers, and grant writers as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Background in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or nonprofit financial management.
  • Strong attention to detail and financial compliance.
  • Passionate about helping a nonprofit grow and maintain financial sustainability.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, or nonprofit financial tools (preferred but not required).

Empower Connect Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to education, mentorship, and workforce development for individuals with limited resources. We serve as a liaison between underserved communities and life-changing opportunities, ensuring financial barriers don’t prevent motivated individuals from accessing the tools they need to build successful futures.

Through donations and community partnerships, we provide sponsored access to professional growth platforms equipping individuals from low-income backgrounds, public housing, technical programs, and reentry pathways with the skills and support necessary to thrive.
