As a member of the Fundraising Committee, you will play a vital role in securing financial support for Rescue Alliance’s lifesaving programs, including rescue operations, medical care, adoption initiatives, and community outreach. Your efforts will directly help provide shelter, food, and medical treatment for cats and kittens in need.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement creative fundraising campaigns and events.
- Identify and cultivate potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.
- Assist in writing grant proposals and sponsorship requests.
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events such as auctions, galas, and online campaigns.
- Promote donation drives through social media, email marketing, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to increase fundraising visibility.
- Track fundraising goals and measure success.
We are looking for individuals who:
✔ Have a passion for animal rescue and nonprofit work.
✔ Are creative thinkers with experience in fundraising, marketing, or event planning.
✔ Possess strong communication and networking skills.
✔ Are team-oriented and willing to contribute ideas and effort.
✔ Can commit to monthly meetings and actively participate in fundraising initiatives.

With the help of volunteers, Rescue Alliance offers a number of services and programs that strive to promote animal welfare within theGreater Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Humane Education and companion ownership, Louisiana Pet Food Bank, Feral Cat Program, Community Assistance Spay and Neuter Program, and Adoptions are all outstanding programs and services provided by the organization.
