Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland (CCCSR) provides quality human services to any resident of Rockland County who needs our help- non-Catholic and Catholics alike. We work to assure that the needy and vulnerable in Rockland have the basic necessities of life -food, shelter, and emergency assistance in times of crisis.
We are looking for support in redesigning our informational brochures. Express interest below if you meet the following criteria and are interested in remote volunteering!
As a volunteer, you will:
- Help our agency rework our brochure defining our services, and potentially other materials distributing to the public or posted on social media
- Work remotely with the point of contact and communicate progress regularly
- Apply your eye for graphic design to create engaging materials
- Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole a plus!!
Skills & Qualifications:
- Consistent access to a personal computer
- Consistent access to internet
- Ability to work asynchronously and meet briefly with point of contact on progress
- Experience in graphic design and layout
- Strong writing ability
- Knowledge of Canva
- Access to and knowledge of Adobe a plus!
