We are looking for about 5 volunteers to assist in watching children from ages 0-11 on every Wednesday evening, 6:30-8pm, through March (5, 12, 19, and 26) and April (2, 9, 16, 23, and 30th). This is to provide the opportunity for single-parents in our programs to participate in parenting and financial literacy classes. These occur at LifeStart Village which the address is undisclosed for protective reasons for some of our clients. It is located in Midvale. Volunteers will be notified of the address once they commit to volunteering. The address included below is our Adminstrative Offices.

Description
Family Support Center began in 1977 through a collaboration between the Junior League of Salt Lake City and the Utah Association for Children's Therapy (U-ACT). The founding project was the Crisis Nursery located in Sugar House. It was established in response to a pressing need for short-term crisis and respite care for children at risk for abuse or neglect. Since 1977, the Nursery program has expanded to include 2 additional locations in Midvale and West Valley City.
Over the years, the Family Support Center has carefully changed, added, and expanded programs to meet the dynamic needs of our community.
The Family Support Center now provides the following services: Crisis Nurseries, Adoption Respite, Clinical Therapy, and LifeStart Village.
