Are you a veteran looking to support fellow veterans during a pivotal time in their lives? Join our team as a Hospice Volunteer and provide support to veterans in hospice care. Your shared experiences and understanding can make a significant difference.
· Opportunities include but are not limited to:
· * Offering emotional support and companionship
· * Navigating VA benefits
· * Participating in Veterans Cafe
· *Providing respite care for family caregivers.
We seek veterans with empathy, patience, and a caring nature who can maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy. Volunteers must be willing to undergo training and background checks.
