Thanks to your generous donations, we fund a variety of projects to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. We greatly appreciate the overwhelming support from the community. As a Volunteer Team Assistant, you will play a key role in keeping our website team organized, creating a structured mindmap, and supporting website improvements. Your work will help volunteers, donors, and partners navigate our resources more effectively, leading to greater impact for Ukraine.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, website structuring, or team support.
  • Familiarity with Wix, WordPress, and website architecture.
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively & work independently.

Your Role

As a Team Assistant, you will help keep our website team organized, structured, and efficient, ensuring smooth operations for our mission.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Project Manager and step in as a backup when needed.
  • Create & maintain a website mindmap for better structure and navigation.
  • Assist in managing & updating the Wix internal portal.
  • Organize website-related documentation & tasks in Asana & Confluence.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize website management processes.

Would be a plus

  • Experience with website UX mapping tools.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or website customization.

Working terms

  • Volunteer role (unpaid).
  • Remote work with flexible collaboration via Slack and Asana.
  • Reports to the Website Project Manager.

Nova Ukraine is a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit organization (EIN 465335435) dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States as well as in the rest of the world. Through your generous donations, we fund a variety of efforts to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. We organize fundraisers, cultural events, meetings with Ukrainian celebrities, and roundtable discussions dedicated to Ukraine, among other initiatives. We also collaborate with nonprofits and volunteers on the ground to further our mission. Since 2014, we have collected over $35 million in donations.
