Trail Tune Up Day
ORGANIZATION: National Park Service
Please visit the new page to apply.
Join us on March 15 for a Trail Tune-Up Day in the heart of the park! Volunteers will work with our trails team to clear debris, perform light repairs, and keep our hiking paths in great shape.
Project will begin at 8 am and end at approximately 12 pm. Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from work sites. Training and supervision will be provided, and the work involves hiking, light lifting, and repeated bending. We'll be working on a section of trail that offers a light challenge with some elevation gain, ideal for experienced hikers.
Participation is limited, volunteers must register for the project beforehand and will receive a confirmation email with location details.
Help us revitalize our park trails for today's community and future generations to enjoy! We look forward to seeing you on the trail!
