It's time to become the G.O.A.T: Gatherer Of All Trash.
The Potomac Conservancy is seeking volunteers to help clean up garbage from Oxon Cove! A key tributary for the Potomac River, the cove is also unfortunately a collecting point for litter which threatens the health of both waterways.
For this event, please meet at the Oxon Hill Farm parking lot ( 6411 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD) where gloves, trash grabbers, and bags will be provided. Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather in clothes you won't mind getting wet.
Sign up to join the fun today, and please also register with the Conservancy to secure your attendance and receive additional information. There are only 50 spots available, so act fast before they fill up!
Together, we can work towards a healthier and more resilient river!
