Mission Statement

The primary mission of Rhythm of the Horse is to provide transformative experiences to our riders and their families through our therapeutic riding programs and other services; however, the execution of that mission requires a host of volunteers who are willing to share their skills, their time and their energy.

Description

Rhythm of the Horse (ROTH) enriches the lives of people with physical and emotional challenges and their families through our holistic approach to equine assisted activities. A horses' movement can improve a person's physical, cognitive, social and emotional functioning and capacity.

ROTH offers services that benefit individuals with a variety of diagnoses including Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Developmental Delay, Traumatic Brain Injury, Down Syndrome, Stroke, Autism and Learning or Language Disabilities. These services include: Conductive Education, Sensory Integration, Horse Powered Reading and Math, and Adaptive Riding.
