Handmade personalized cards are a bright spot in a hospice patient's day! Creative volunteers can make 'thinking of you' cards to send to our patients each month. Some patients have only these cards to decorate their rooms!
Capital City Hospice continues to build its Volunteer Program to offer support to our patients, their families, and our staff. To provide an extra dose of happiness, we are looking for volunteers whose artistic talents can be directed to making cards in an effort to send at least one card a month to each of our patients.
Volunteers must attend an orientation (offered each month at our office), have TB and drug screenings as well as fingerprinting (all at Capital City's expense).
Share your talents while enjoying time with other volunteers creating cards! Invite other cardmakers, too :-)
Email or call (614-441-9300) for more information or to register for an upcoming Volunteer Orientation. We look forward to meeting you!
