Make a Meaningful Impact: Volunteer to Prepare and Serve Meals

Join us in supporting the residents of our detoxification and recovery program by helping prepare and serve meals. These individuals are navigating both housing insecurity and substance addiction, and your support can truly make a difference in their journey toward stability and healing.

At Recovery on Redwood, we provide a safe, supportive environment where residents have access to essential resources and compassionate care from our dedicated case managers and staff.

How to Get Involved:

What to Expect:
As a meal service volunteer, you'll assist with meal preparation, serving food, and cleanup. Whether chopping vegetables, cooking, or assembling trays, your efforts directly support the well-being of those we serve. More than just a meal, your presence offers encouragement, a sense of community, and a reminder that they are not alone. Sometimes, a simple smile or kind word can have a lasting impact.

Details:

  • Location: Recovery on Redwood - 1875 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, UT 84102
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday for Dinner service
  • Dinner volunteers should plan to arrive by 5:00 p.m.
  • Volunteers should be able to stand for two hours during their shift.
