Role Overview:
True Connection is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to help bring our message to life through engaging, high-quality video content. This role is essential in crafting short-form social media videos (Instagram Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn, and Facebook videos) that educate, inspire, and align with our mission of interconnection, sustainability, and mindful living.

We’re looking for someone who understands storytelling through video, has a strong editing style that matches platforms like Waste Free Planet, World Economic Forum, Earthrise Studio, and The Ocean Cleanup, and can create compelling, visually engaging content that resonates with a wide audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Ensure all videos align with our brand identity, messaging, and the Six Pillars of Interconnection (Nature, Ancient Wisdom, The Cosmos, Cultures, Climate Action, and Mindful Living).
• Incorporate engaging text overlays, captions, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling and accessibility.
• Source relevant stock footage, b-roll, and music when needed to complement the visuals.
• Optimize video formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.
• Collaborate with the social media team to ensure content is scheduled and posted effectively.
• Maintain a consistent editing style, ensuring videos are clean, engaging, and aligned with industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent video editing software.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, short-form video storytelling, and digital engagement strategies.
• Experience editing fast-paced, engaging, and educational content (similar to the style of Waste Free Planet, World Economic Forum, and Earthrise Studio).
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced content schedule.
• Motion graphics experience (After Effects or similar) is a plus.
• Passion for sustainability, climate action, and mindful living is a bonus!
