Role Overview:
True Connection is looking for a Social Media Content Manager (Volunteer) to help bring our mission to life through engaging social media posts, stories, and community interactions. Most of the content is already planned around our weekly articles, so your role will focus on writing compelling post copy, scheduling content, and ensuring daily engagement across platforms.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about social impact, sustainability, and digital storytelling who wants hands-on experience managing a growing social media presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Execution & Scheduling:
  • Write engaging, on-brand captions for weekly articles we share.
  • Schedule all posts for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn using Later.
  • Create and schedule multiple Instagram Stories daily related to each post.
• Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and engage with aligned accounts to grow our audience.
• Platform Management: Ensure all platforms stay active, aligned with our mission, voice, and posting schedule.
• Visual Content (Optional, but a Plus!): If you have visual design skills, help create simple graphics for stories or posts using Canva.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong writing skills-able to craft engaging, clear, and impactful social media copy.
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn content creation.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (Later preferred, or similar platforms like Buffer or Meta Business Suite).
• Organized and reliable-able to keep a consistent posting schedule.
• (Optional but a Plus!): If you have visual design abilities, let us know! Canva experience is helpful but not required.

Commitment & Expectations:

• 5-8 hours per week, flexible schedule.
• Minimum 3-month commitment, with potential to continue.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
