Floating Freedom Foundation is a newly formed nonprofit dedicated to promoting educational equity. We are seeking support to sustain our alternative education program, Àbulę, which supports homeschool and online schooling families from underrepresented and underserved communities. Through a vibrant virtual educational community, our aim is to create a global network of support for students and families in need.
Opportunity Overview:
We are desperately seeking a skilled volunteer with expertise in fundraising and grant research to help us secure the necessary funding to sustain our program. As our organization and program are both in the early stages, we urgently need support in identifying fundraising opportunities and developing a sustainable fundraising strategy.

Description
The Floating Freedom Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting literacy and educational access, particularly for marginalized and historically underserved communities. Named in honor of The Floating Freedom School-a secret school on a steamboat that provided education to enslaved individuals-the foundation carries forward its legacy of resilience and empowerment through learning.
Our initiatives focus on:
