Volunteer Opportunity: “It Takes A Legacy: Leveling Up†Community Event

About the Event:
It Takes A Legacy: Leveling Up is an annual community event dedicated to empowering families with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to thrive. Through interactive breakout sessions, a resource fair, and hands-on activities, we provide guidance in key areas such as financial literacy, education, mental health, nutrition, and entrepreneurship. Families will walk away with valuable insights, tangible resources, and a stronger support system to help them level up in all aspects of life.
Volunteer Roles Available:
We are looking for passionate volunteers to help make this event a success! Opportunities include:
1. Registration & Check-in Team: Welcome attendees and assist with event sign-in.
2. Breakout Session Assistants: Help speakers set up and manage their sessions.
3. Resource Fair Support : Assist vendors, distribute materials, and direct attendees.
4. Kids Activity Area Helpers: Engage children in fun and educational activities.
5. Event Floaters: Help with general event needs and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Our non-profit is located in Northeast Philadelphia. We are a legacy owned non-profit and our goal is to help our families start, build, and nurture their legacies. We do this by: helping them with tailored resources and services for each individual, providing safe spaces for them and their families, providing quality education for the children, and being a safe hub in the community.
