ORGANIZATION: AUNTIES BOOK BANK CORPORATION

Treasurer - Board of Directors
Auntie’s Book Bank is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treasurer to join our Board of Directors. As a key leadership volunteer, the Treasurer will oversee the nonprofit’s financial health, ensuring transparency and responsible financial management as we work to provide free books to children in underserved communities across North Texas.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and oversee budgeting, accounting, and reporting.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial sustainability of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations and tax filings.
  • Work with the Executive Director and Board to develop financial strategies.
  • Present financial updates at board meetings.
  • Assist with fundraising efforts and donor stewardship.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or nonprofit financial management.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit financial best practices is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to transparency.
  • Ability to dedicate a few hours per month to financial oversight and board meetings.
  • Passion for literacy and supporting underserved communities.
