Volunteer RN/PA/MD/NP Needed for Trans Youth Summer Camp
ORGANIZATION: The Laurel Foundation
Please visit the new page to apply.

The Laurel Foundation offers Camp Mullberry, a free summer camp for transgender/gender-diverse youth in Big Bear Lake, CA. For one week, the youth (6-17) are in a physically and emotionally safe environment, surrounded by peers and volunteer adult role model counselors.
Now more than ever these youth need this camp experience... but we can't do it without our Volunteer Medical Staff Team.
The medical staff is in charge of dispensing the meds for a cabin group of kids. You and the medical staff team will ensure the medical safety of all campers and volunteers at camp.
You get to be in the beautiful outdoors supporting the kids and doing what you love: caring for people.
If you are passionate about serving transgender/gender diverse youth, we welcome you to apply to volunteer at camp for a week.
Must have a current medical license for CA.

Mission Statement
Committed to improving the lives of children living with HIV and AIDS, we believe that every child has the right to experience the wonder of childhood. Through our programs we strive to contribute to the development of each child’s self esteem, self-awareness and self-fulfillment. The mission of The Laurel Foundation is to empower children, youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS through educational and support programs in a safe and trusting environment. While HIV/AIDS is often an isolating illness because of negative social stigma and the sickness or loss of a parent, The Laurel Foundation aims to eradicate this isolation through a comprehensive approach, including residential camps, mentorship, life enhancement workshops, ongoing support programs and collaborative partnerships.
