Are you a compassionate healthcare professional with a heart for serving youth? We're seeking dedicated LVNs, RNs, NPs, PAs, or MDs with a current California medical license to join our volunteer medical staff for our Camp Laurel Summer Teen Camp Adventure! This is a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise while creating lasting memories for campers aged 13-17 for a Fun, Educational, Leadership & Career-Based Camp while residing in the dorms of a university in the Los Angeles area (site TBD).

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the well-being of our camp community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administration of prescribed medications to campers, volunteers, and staff members.
  • Assessing and providing treatment for acute injuries and illnesses (within license scope).
  • Participating in camp activities and evening programs, fostering meaningful connections with campers.
  • Prior experience working with children is desirable, but most importantly, we're seeking individuals with a genuine passion for supporting young people and creating a safe, inclusive environment for all.

Join us in making a positive impact and creating unforgettable experiences for our campers. Apply now to be a part of something truly special!

The mission of The Laurel Foundation is to empower children, youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS through educational and support programs in a safe and trusting environment.
