How would you like to show off your green and have the best time of your life supporting Salt Lake's 46th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade? You actually don't have to wear green nor be Irish but only willing to have some fun and meet loads of fun, new people!

We are looking for 30 folks who can provide back up at our bar service areas as well as 20 folks who are interested in helping us clean up post parade and siamsa.

Volunteers serve in 2 hours shifts on March 15, between 10am and 5pm.

Description

ORIGIN STORY

In 1977, four upstanding men were enjoying themselves at a local SLC establishment. Suddenly one of the men declared, "Let’s have a parade!". The four men promptly stood up, walked out onto 400 South, and cheerfully marched down the street. Check out our history page for the full story told by John Welsh, one of those four geniuses.

The following year would see the parade officially start with an estimated 5,000 spectators. Since then, the parade has become a staple event in the community with over 20,000 spectators and participants.

WHAT WE DO

We support local charities through a variety of events, the signature event of the year is the St. Patrick's Day parade.
