If you are friendly, good at organizing, can lift up to 30 lbs, and are comfortable with computers and talking on the phone (bilingual a plus!), we could use your help. The Supplemental Provisions volunteer will assist Pima Council on Aging staff to package supplies and arrange pick-up with the older adults who will be receiving them.
The schedule is flexible, and will only be a few hours a week. PCOA volunteers must submit an application, criminal affidavit, and agree to a background check and Level-1 fingerprint clearance card (PCOA will cover all costs). We ask that volunteers commit to at least 6 months for this position, and longer is always better. (In the case of those who leave town for the summer, you would be able to pick right back up when you return!)
