Mission Statement
Centerville Pet Rescue is passionately dedicated to addressing the plight of homeless cats in Lancaster County, PA. Since opening our doors in 2017, we have found loving homes for thousands of cats, transforming the lives of both the animals and their new families. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. Each year, hundreds of cats in our community face uncertain futures, often struggling to survive on the streets. We provide these vulnerable animals with a safe haven, ensuring they receive the medical care, nourishment, and love they need to thrive.
Description
Our organization operates a comprehensive network of foster homes, where cats can receive personalized care and attention. This environment not only helps in the physical healing of the cats but also aids in their emotional and social development, making them well-prepared for adoption into forever homes. Our dedicated volunteers and staff work tirelessly to match each cat with the perfect family, ensuring a loving and permanent placement.
To enhance our ability to provide top-notch care, we are proud to now have a part-time veterinarian and vet tech on staff. Their expertise and dedication help ensure that each cat receives the highest standard of medical care. With the support of grants, we aim to expand our facilities and enhance our medical care capabilities, allowing us to save more lives. We also plan to increase our outreach programs, educating more people about the importance of responsible cat ownership and the impact of animal welfare.
Every cat deserves a chance at a happy and healthy life. Your support can help us make this a reality for the cats of Lancaster County. By contributing to Centerville Pet Rescue, you are joining a community of compassionate individuals dedicated to making a difference, one cat at a time. Together, we can create a future where every cat is safe, loved, and has a place to call home.
